First, the waterfall foundation is constructed.

After completing the waterfall, a butterfly is placed beside it, and a frog is positioned on the water.

A bird is also assembled and positioned as if flying over the waterfall.

Once completed, the diorama features a dense tropical rainforest scene with palm trees and unique plants.

The butterfly in the set appears to be a Morpho butterfly based on my research.

For added character, I placed a LEGO baby chimpanzee minifigure, which blends well with the scene.

It also gives off a bit of an Animal Crossing: New Horizons deserted island vibe, so I added Blathers from LEGO 77053 Celestial Observatory, which fits perfectly.

Thoughts on Building LEGO 40782 Tropical Rainforest Diorama

Surprisingly, the set includes a good number of pieces, making the build process quite engaging.

I especially enjoyed assembling the palm trees, broad-leaved plants, waterfall, butterfly, and the bird flying over the scene.

This is the first set in LEGO’s Wonders of Travel and Nature promotional series, and I had a great time putting it together.

Gustave Eiffel was a French architect and civil engineer, best known for designing the Eiffel Tower and the iron framework of the Statue of Liberty.

LEGO 40579 Eiffel’s Apartment is a LEGO recreation of the real apartment inside the Eiffel Tower where Gustave Eiffel once stayed.

The box shows that the apartment includes a small Eiffel Tower, Gustave Eiffel’s desk, a railing, and a telescope.
